Very Suspicious

We've harbored suspicions for a while now. The way Kate makes a hook with her finger, the way she makes funny noises when she talks, the way she splashes around when we put her in water, the way her hair is growing long in the back, the way she demands her drink, and the way one eye always remains open even when she sleeps. What do you think? Is our baby a Pirate?

Baby Blessing

We were fortunate enough to have Kate blessed in church at the beginning of the month. Here she is wearing her blessing dress. This isn't just any dress though, it was bought by her Great Great Grandma Ruth. She bought it for my mom to wear when she was blessed. My sister and I both were blessed in this dress. And Kate's cousin Emilia wore it too on her special day. So Kate is the 5th person to wear this beautiful dress. I do have to give Rusty credit for picking out the shoes though.

After church we ate lunch at Grandpa & Grandma Clawson's house. The house was packed with lots of family and good food.
